Madison was built as a complement to the James tray. But don't take him as a second-fiddle type of character. The design is simple - a light maple checkered base wrapped in walnut. But the simplicity is intentional, meant to highlight the outstanding grain figure on one side of the tray and the waterfall pattern that wraps around the rest of tray.
